A DTF gang sheet is a single sheet of DTF film, 22 inches wide, that holds many designs at once. Instead of paying for each transfer separately, you pay for the length of the sheet and fill it with as many logos, sizes and designs as fit. After it arrives, you cut the designs apart and press each one.
How a DTF gang sheet works
- Choose a length. Our sheets are 22" wide and come in lengths from 6" to 1,000".
- Fill the sheet. Arrange your designs with a small gap between them, either in your own design software or in our online gang sheet builder.
- We print it. The whole sheet is printed, powdered and cured as one piece.
- Cut and press. Trim around each design with scissors and press it.
Why gang sheets save money
You pay for the sheet, not for each design. A 22" × 24" sheet costs $14.40 and can hold, for example, four 10" front designs plus five 4" left chest logos. Ordering those nine transfers by size (four 10" × 10" at $4.25 and five 4" × 4" at $1.75) would cost $25.75. Longer sheets also lower the price per inch: 6" to 96" sheets cost $0.60 per inch of length, and the price per inch drops on most longer sheets. File requirements for an uploaded gang sheet
- Exactly 22" wide, at the length you ordered.
- PNG with a transparent background.
- 300 DPI at full size.
- Designs spaced so they can be cut apart (see our spacing guide).
- No background color or white boxes behind designs unless you want them printed.
What you can put on a gang sheet
Anything: one design repeated 30 times, ten different designs, the same logo in adult, youth and toddler sizes, or a mix of shirt fronts, sleeve prints and neck labels. Mixing sizes is the main reason print shops and brands prefer gang sheets.
Gang sheet vs transfers by size
If you need fewer than five transfers of a single design, ordering by size is simpler. Once you have several designs or many copies, a gang sheet almost always costs less, because unused space on a sheet is the only waste.
